Happy Halloween and welcome to the Concept Challenge!
In each episode of this exciting new series two talented artists are given a concept that they must complete before time runs out. This challenges their creativity, technical skills, and ability to think on the spot. And yes, they really are surprised by the topics with no prior warning!
At the end of the episode, I photograph both of their incredible creations and take you through the lighting, posing, gear and other considerations.
In this episode the theme is a creepy, beautiful Halloween look!
This episode features makeup artists Yvonne MacInnis and Lijha Stewart, and they are given 1 hour to create a unique look with the concept of GLAMOUR GHOULS. These artists must combine something creepy or ghoulish with elements of beauty. It can’t just be horror, and it just can’t be ‘sexy’… it must be beautifully dark! Stay tuned to see how they combine their experiences with beauty makeup and their deep love of Halloween!
