Production on the anticipated reboot of classic slasher franchise “Halloween” has begun. Blumhouse shared a photo from set showing a simple pumpkin logo for the upcoming horror movie on a chair. Principal photography on the film is now taking place in Charleston, South Carolina. The film is said to be a direct sequel to the original Halloween and will ignore previous sequels. David Gordon Green will direct and original Halloween creator and director John Carpenter will score the new film. Jamie Lee Curtis will reprise her iconic role as Laurie Strode. “Halloween” hits theaters October 19th.
