How to take GHOST photos – are GHOST photos REAL? – ghost effect with a only a camera

Looking to try something different with your camera? Perhaps need a halloween photography idea for this year? Or do you just want to FAKE some creepy, spooky ghost photos to post online to the ghost conspiracy sites (they are always asking are ghost photos real!). Then check out my 18 tips and tricks to on HOW to take GHOST PHOTOS. No Photoshop or Lightroom needed (although some Lightroom tweaks can help).

I learned this trick from Evan – check out his site – http://www.photographyin123.com/EvansLightPainting

OK so you want to take some cool photos photos, but can’t find any ghosts (duh!, they aren’t real), then you will need a complicated set of camera gear, including:

1. DSLR – https://amzn.to/2lXQMG5
2. Tripod (optional – will help stabilize the shots) – https://amzn.to/2KA6u8W

That is it. 🙂

What I will show you only needs knowledge of your camera, and a tripod (and if you are shooting with someone else, you could make that optional too!).

If you are shooting along, a REMOTE TRIGGER can help (https://amzn.to/2uLCpIQ), but that is 100% optional.

My video will dive into the details, but the gist if it is:

1. Find a good spot, get a good concept
2. Setup camera
3. Manual mode – 4 seconds minimum
4. Take a shot – have the “ghost” be in the frame for 25% to 50% of the shutter duration

That is it. A cool ghost photo.

I’d love to see your output. Are you using horror photography ideas? Ghost themes? Just trying to make it creepy? Let’s see what you did!

PS – the answer to “are ghost photos real” is no. There are no ghosts. Disagree? They complain in the comments. 😮
