Street Photography for beginners is the name of the game in today’s photography vlog.
For my travel and street photography check me out on IG at @brendanvanson
I wanted to give you guys some street photography tips and tricks on today’s episode. I feel like over the past couple months I’ve been way too focused on landscape photography. But, the reality of travel photography is that you need to capture all sorts of styles and niches, and, actually, street might be the most important.
On the channel, I think I don’t show enough of the street photography stuff simply because I feel like my strength is with nature and landscapes. But, that doesn’t mean that I don’t shoot urban or street photography. I do shoot it lots. I might just not share it as much as my other work.
My favourite street photography lens is the one I used to vlog and shoot with most today, my 16-35mm. I think it’s a fun lens because you can get really close and wide on subjects giving lots of dimension. One of my biggest tips is that you need to get closer to your subject for cool photos.
My street photography for beginners video has 8 tips in total. If you have others that you think should be included, let me know in the comments.
